Mon, September 13, 2004 - 3:31 PMphil, the middle man distribution system is going to be destroyed one way or another. It now represents an inherent inefficiency when we have the technology to allow artists to directly market to the consumer.
I can admire you wanting to help out your friends, but its hard not to see it as plugging the proverbial hole in the dike with your finger. Eventually the structural problems that resulted in the first hole are going to reveal more holes than you have fingers.
